We had a great time in Orlando at the end of last month. We spent a little bit of time at the resort, but spent the majority of the time at Disney World. The kids liked the swimming at the resort and luckily we took them one of the first days when it was still warm. We had a few pretty chilly and rainy days while we were there.

The kids also had a lot of fun at the miniature golf course and playground at the resort.

The kids met about every character that they have there and some of them several times. We did see a few characters that we'd never seen before like the UP characters, Princess Tiana, Mike from Monsters Inc, Pinocchio, etc.

Oh and even the evil step mom and step sisters from Cinderella. Allison wasn't sure what to think of them at first, but thought the one in pink wasn't too scary and she actually smiled for a picture with them.

Matthew was a good sport and went up to see some of the princesses. Some of them he refused to see, but Cinderella & Ariel talked him into giving them a hug. He's going to love these pictures when he's older...

We have a Disney credit card and they do special character meet and greets for card members. The kids loved that one because they were able to spend quite a bit of time with Minnie and Goofy and even dance with them.

Oh, here's another dancing picture of the kid's in front of the castle. Allison even got Dave to dance with her. She's definitely the only girl on the planet that could get him to do that, including me. :)

We ate breakfast at the Tusker House with Donald and friends at the Animal Kingdom.

The Animal Kingdom also had a good parade,

An ostrich that blocked our safari jeep for a little bit on the safari ride,

and my favorite part, an AMAZING view of a tiger that was luckily behind very thick glass.

I was able to go on most of the rides with every one since our kids still mostly just do the little kiddo rides. Our favorite was Toy Story Mania and apparently every one else loves that ride too because the ride wait at one point was 80 minutes! No, we didn't end up waiting that long for any of the times that we went on it thanks to timing and fast passes. Here's a picture of Allison on the ride. I'm sure the people next to us loved my flash going off in the middle of the ride. :)

Dave also took the kids on a few rides that I couldn't go on. He took them both on the Barnstormer roller coaster and Matthew went on Fast Track at Epcot.

Well, I'm sure I've bored you all enough. We did have a lot of fun and all came back pretty worn out.
